Location: Dexter, MI Shift: 1st Shift (6am - 3:30pm M-F) Pay: $17/hr
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team in Dexter, MI. In this role, you will be a key part of daily operations, helping ensure materials, parts, and finished goods are accurately received, organized, processed, and shipped on time.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, your core responsibilities will include:
  • Material Handling & Movement: Receiving, moving, and distributing parts and materials between departments to support smooth warehouse and production flow.
  • Shipping & Order Processing: Picking, packing, weighing, and preparing orders for shipment to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Receiving & Inventory Accuracy: Verifying incoming materials by counting, weighing, and sorting parts to ensure correct order fulfillment and inventory control.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operating pallet jacks, dollies, digital/mechanical scales, and occasionally a forklift to move materials throughout the facility.
In addition, you will also be assisting with housekeeping tasks, supporting part washing and degreasing as needed, following written and verbal instructions, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:
  • 1–3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Strong attendance, reliability, and a safety-first mindset
