Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for Planning Monthly and Annual PMs
2. Responsible for receiving spare parts process be done through the system according to the purchase orders, transfers or returns. Inform Purchase area for any issue regarding for quality, damage spare parts or excess of quantities in order to take the decision to update the order before receiving or return to the vendor.
3. Responsible for all received parts will be tagged with the corresponding label and located on the right shelf assigned on the system
4. Be sure that all spare parts released to the machines have a pick ticket.
5. Responsible for placing PRs for items needed for corrective or planning maintenance with code or like plant supplies and inform the user as soon as arrive.
6. Coordinate cycle count and physical inventory as the schedule and maintain records and make the adjustments in the system with the corresponding justification and approval.
7. Assure accuracy of inventory in the Storeroom.
8. Responsible for adding new codes for the reorder point or on demand process.
9. Store parts following the procedure, maximize the space and maintain the integrity of inventory in terms of data and damage.
10. Track and report monthly KPI's. Measures inventory values, overstock, storeroom fill rate, Open Pick Tickets and cycle counts the low rotation parts, parts that should be in stock for their rotation, inventory adjustments, purchase orders pending to be received due the import process
11. Maintain a clean and orderly work area throughout the shift.
12. Responsible for developing optimal inventory levels by running CMMS report, both daily and weekly, reviewing min/max inventory levels, as well as managing inventoried parts; monitoring out-of-stock and low/excess stock quantities.
13. Investigate inventory discrepancies and consult with stockroom staff, propose solve actions and make the adjustments in the system.
14. Works with vendors and plant personnel to solve technical and functioning issues with parts.
15. Is responsible for implementing procedures for setting up new parts in the stockroom.
16. Tracks and documents all parts sent out for repair. Performs analysis of buying new versus repair of a part.
17. Ensures returned repairs are labeled and warranty repair periods are documented.
18. Works with stockroom attendants who receive parts daily to resolve tactical issues with shipped parts (stock and non-stock). Involve Purchase or Maintenance area when needed.
19. Responsible for managing and leading the store room inventory reduction goals. Implements programs to identify and analyze idle, slow-moving and obsolete parts.
20. Supports purchasing through consignment-buyback initiatives. Implements processes to remove spare parts from inventory.
21. Manages and implements Corporate Initiatives for Preferred Vendors.
22. Be part of the Spare Parts, Maintenance and procurement committee.
23. Following safety procedures and report any injury or near miss.
24. Administer and monitor vendor's services.
25. Provide training to new employees in the area.
26. Coordinate the duties and goals to be accomplished by the Spare Part Room employees in the shift.
27. Actively participate in improvement projects
28. Report any work-related incident.
29. Other duties assigned by Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Experience in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Advantage preferred
• 1-3 years of related inventory experience, preferred in a manufacturing environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to print simple sentences and legibly complete reports and time cards. Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions. Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and manufacturing terminology. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and the general public
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
