Shipping/Receiving & Production Assistant

Location: Donald Oregon
Pay: $20–$25/hr, DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
⏰ Overtime: Occasional — approximately 1 hour before or after shift

Manufacturing exclusively manufactures exhaust silencers and supporting products. Their heavy-duty commercial silencers are designed for industrial, stationary, and marine applications.

Job Duties

  • Shipping and receiving using pick sheets
  • Loading and unloading large products using cranes and dollies
  • Staging product
  • Packaging
  • Assisting with production
  • Using hand tools, including grinders, impact guns, and air tools
  • Following all safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and moving throughout the workday
  • Basic knowledge of fractions is helpful
  • Comfortable working around loud noises and in a dirty/industrial environment
  • Comfortable around solvent smells; ask candidates about any allergies
  • Steel-toed boots required
  • Hard-working, punctual, and reliable
  • Product is carbon steel or stainless steel and can be very large and extremely heavy
