Shipping Clerk – Pooler, GA (1st Shift)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Pay Rate: $18/hr.
Position Overview
The Shipping Clerk supports daily shipping operations, ensures accurate documentation, and maintains quality and workflow across the warehouse. This role requires strong computer literacy, attention to detail, and occasional forklift operation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Driver CheckIn — Greet and check in drivers at the shipping door using both a clipboard log and digital spreadsheet.
  • BOL Management — Print Bills of Lading (BOLs) for Vigo shipments and ensure all required documentation is prepared.
  • Quality Walkthroughs — Walk the production floor to verify product quality and correct labeling before shipping.
  • EndofDay Location Checks — Confirm all product locations are cleared and no lingering items remain.
  • Load Closing — Physically close out all shipped loads and ensure system accuracy.
  • WMS Usage — Learn and operate the company’s Warehouse Management System; computer literacy is required.
  • Forklift Operation — Operate a sitdown forklift as needed during highvolume periods or when covering for absent team members.
