Job Summary:

Reports to the DC Distribution Manager.The Shipping Supervisoris responsible foroverseeing the daily shipping operations within the distribution center, ensuring customer orders are processed, shipped, and billed accurately and on time. This position provides leadership to the shipping team, coordinates workflow across departments, manages inventory and payroll functions, and promotes a safe, efficient, and productive work environmentwhilemeeting company standards and customer expectations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervises, coaches, and supports shipping team members to ensure efficient daily operations.

  • Assigns andmonitorsdaily workloads to meet shipping schedules and productivity goals.

  • Coordinates employee schedules, attendance, and vacation requests tomaintainadequate staffing levels.

  • Addresses employee concerns and recommends corrective or disciplinary actionsin accordance withcompany policies.

  • Promotes a safe, organized, and productive work environment by ensuring compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
