Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Contract to Hire
A fast-moving operation is seeking a dependable, detail-driven Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Burlington, MA to keep shipments flowing accurately in and out the door. 
Pay Rate of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:
$24.00 – $28.00 per hour.
Schedule of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:
8-hour shifts with an 8:00 – 9:00 AM start.
Responsibilities of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:
  • Prepare and track commercial domestic and international shipments per company procedures.
  • Pick, pack, and label items according to the packing list.
  • Confirm quantities and shipping destinations are correct.
  • Select the appropriate shipping container and pack items to ensure safe delivery.
  • Prepare bills of lading and other required shipping documentation.
  • Document and log every shipment accurately.
  • Track shipments and work with couriers, customs, and recipients to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Trace lost shipments and customer claims, initiating proof of delivery documents as needed.
  • Receive and unload incoming materials, comparing packing slips against purchase orders to verify accuracy.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
