Job Summary
- Moves materials physically within the facility from receiving/inspection to storage locations.
- Loads and unloads materials using hands or equipment such as forklifts and hoists.
- Organizes and consolidates materials in storage for efficient use and access.
- Completes computer transactions (including RF Scanner use) to accurately track material movements.
- Verifies material identification and quantities to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Tags and labels all materials to ensure accurate identification for picking and inventory counts.
- Follows processes and instructions to prioritize materials for putaway and order picking.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Pulls materials from storage to fulfill orders based on pick lists.
- Processes inventory transactions to relieve inventory as materials are picked.
- Tags, labels, and packs orders securely to ensure a positive customer experience and prevent shipping damage.
- Generates shipping labels using third-party software for small parcel shipments.
