SHIPPING CLERK

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Shipping Clerk.  The Shipping Clerk is responsible for overseeing and managing the shipment of goods from a warehouse or production facility to customers, vendors, or distribution centers. This role ensures accurate documentation, timely dispatch, compliance with shipping regulations, and effective communication with carriers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update customer portals and process electronic ASN transfers.
  • Process international shipping and customs documentation.
  • Respond to vendor emails and internal communication in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents (bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, customs forms)
  • Schedule pickups and deliveries with freight carriers and courier services
  • Track shipments and resolve delays or delivery issues
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping regulations
  • Communicate with warehouse, production, sales, and customer service teams
  • Process returns and manage reverse logistics.
  • Must be safety and quality conscious.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 2–4 years of shipping, logistics, or warehouse experience.
