PositionSummary: The Shipping Lead is responsible for coordinating daily packaging andshipping operations to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient delivery ofproducts to customer locations. This role leads the shipping team and worksclosely with production, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure productsare packaged according to company standards and customer expectations.
TheShipping Lead supports order fulfillment by monitoring shipment schedules,addressing issues that may impact delivery timelines, and maintaining accuratedocumentation and system updates. This position provides day to day workdirection to shipping team members and partners with the Manager to support safety,performance, training, and operational execution.

  • Coordinatedaily packaging and shipping activities to ensure on time delivery of customerorders
  • Monitordaily shipment schedules and take action to recover when shipments fall behindplan
  • Workclosely with production teams to ensure products are packaged according tocompany requirements and customer expectations
  • Leadstart up meetings and communicate daily priorities to the shipping team
  • Provideguidance and support to shipping team members and fill in for team members whennecessary
  • Ensureshipments meet quality standards and documentation requirements prior torelease
  • Trackdaily shipments and support order prioritization when needed
  • Coordinatewith internal departments including production, warehouse, and supply chain tosupport efficient order fulfillment
  • Promotecontinuous improvement initiatives including 5S and waste elimination practices
  • Supporttraining and development of team members through daily coaching and guidance
  • Monitorattendance and support tracking of performance metrics
  • Escalatepersonnel concerns or operational issues to the Warehouse Manager and HR whenappropriate

  • Highschool diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred

  • Previous team lead, coordinator, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience coordinating shipments, packaging, or material flow in amanufacturing environment preferred
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Experience working in ERP systems; Infor experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles including 5S and waste eliminationpreferred
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not required
