Work Type: Full Time, Onsite, Temp coverage Compensation: $27-29/hr Position Overview: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day movement of goods, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. This role works closely with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to maintain efficient supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries
  • Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely shipment execution
  • Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate shipping records, documentation, and inventory logs
  • Assist with routing, load planning, and optimizing transportation costs
  • Monitor inventory levels and support warehouse operations as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations
  • Prepare reports on shipping activity, performance metrics, and cost analysis
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency
Qualifications:
  • 1-3+ years of logistics, supply chain, or transportation experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
