The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in day-to-day warehouse operations at our Exton distribution facility. This position is highly physical and centers on safe material handling, forklift operation, unloading inbound freight, palletizing product, stocking inventory, and packing outbound shipments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Inventory and Sourcing Specialist
  • Stock items onto shelving and racking according to assigned bin locations.
  • Developing and documenting best-in-class procurement and reordering processes
  • Using data analysis to automate ordering, evaluate sourcing options, and build a cross-reference registry
  • Monitoring inventory trends and pipelines to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess
  • Maintain clean, organized aisles and storage areas to ensure safe traffic flow.
  • Follow warehouse labeling and slotting procedures to support inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with cycle counts, recounts, and periodic physical inventory.
Inbound Receiving & Pallet Handling
  • Safely unload inbound tractor-trailers, box trucks, and parcel deliveries.
  • Verify shipments for accuracy (counts, condition, documentation).
  • Break down pallets, sort mixed freight, and stage items for stocking.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, lift, and position materials.
Outbound Order Fulfillment
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments (parcel and LTL).
  • Build and wrap pallets for outbound freight as required.
  • Ensure all orders are packed securely and labeled correctly.
  • Coordinate with the shipping team to meet daily dispatch deadlines.
Forklift & Equipment Operation
  • Operate sit-down electric forklifts daily for both inbound and outbound tasks.
  • Move and stage heavy equipment, HVAC components, and palletized products.
  • Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
General Warehouse Operations
  • Follow all OSHA, warehouse safety, and material-handling procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining safe working conditions by removing debris, organizing tools, and reporting hazards.
  • Support other operational tasks assigned during warehouse setup and ongoing growth.
Local Box Truck Operation (Non-CDL)
  • Operate a non-CDL box truck for local pickups, deliveries, and warehouse-to-warehouse transfers as needed.
  • Safely load, secure, and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
  • Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (lights, tires, mirrors, load securement).
  • Follow all company safety policies and applicable traffic laws during vehicle operation.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate delivery and receipt of materials.
Experience and Requirements:
  • 1+ year of warehouse, fulfillment, or material-handling experience require.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor Degree in supply chain, logistics or Business Administration
  • Experience operating forklifts or powered industrial trucks strongly preferred (training available)
  • Ability to perform continuous manual and repetitive tasks throughout the workday
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently without constant supervision
  • First Aid, CPR/AED certified preferred
  • OSHA-10 Preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time in a warehouse setting.
  • Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, and computer printer.
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Must be able to do the following:
    • Climbing - ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps
    • Balancing - may be required to maintain equilibrium on unsteady surfaces
    • Stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling to reach equipment
    • Pushing, pulling and lifting components or equipment
    • Will be required to work in all weather conditions
    • May be exposed to different atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dusts, gases, etc.
  • Regular handling of heavy and awkward materials.
  • Must be able to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related warehouse equipment.
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs.
