Job description

Position Description: Blue Frontier is hiring a Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Coordinator. The Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of materials and products in and out of the facility. This includes coordinating shipments, receiving incoming goods, verifying materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. The role supports production and operations through efficient materials handling and logistics practices.Key Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving
Prepare and process shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading).
Schedule pickups and coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and couriers.
Receive incoming goods, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and verify against purchase orders.
Accurately document receipts and update ERP or inventory systems.
Coordinate internal delivery of received goods to proper departments.
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory counts through cycle counts and physical inventory.
Monitor stock levels and notify management of low or overstock situations.
Organize and label inventory for ease of identification and access.
Track and report inventory discrepancies and resolve issues proactively.
Assist in implementing inventory control policies and procedures.
Warehouse & Materials Handling
Ensure all materials are stored safely and efficiently in designated areas.
Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) in a safe manner.
Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards.
Support kitting, packaging, and staging activities for production and shipping.
Systems & Reporting
Utilize ERP (Preferably NetSuite) or inventory management software (Preferably RFSmart) to record transactions.
Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and shipment status.
Collaborate with purchasing, production, and quality teams to resolve material issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification in logistics/supply chain preferred.
2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Familiarity with ERP systems, NetSuite or similar.
Advanced proficiency on a PC
Experience with international shipping, customs, and documentation is a plus.
Forklift certification (if applicable) and knowledge of warehouse safety protocols.
