Shipping Clerk
Bluffton, Indiana
Job Requirements
BRC Rubber Plastics is seeking to hire a Shipping Clerk to join our Shipping Department team. This is a
full-time hourly position that will coordinate the day-to-day activities of the shipping department. They
will be responsible for meeting shipping deadlines, requirements and transportation to ensure goals and
objectives are achieved. Performs other related duties, special projects or assignments as required.
Shifts: 1st Shift – M-F 7:00AM-3:30PM
Duties Responsibilities:
- Maintains customer portals, such as Ford, Stellantis and General Motors along with various others
- Maintains the shortage report and keeps load sheets up to date with the assistance of Customer
Service
- Responsible for learning the customer portals and disputing any discrepancies
- Responsible for all out bound materials and transportation
- Responsible for the quality and accuracy of all shipping documents prior to being sent
Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective communication skills (verbal and email)
- Conflict resolution skills (with internal and external customers)
- Must be thorough and detail oriented
- Must be dependable and available to work as needed, with occasional overtime
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Comply with health and safety practices, policies and regulations
Experience:
- 1 year experience as a Shipping Clerk in a manufacturing capacity
- Logistics experience helpful
