Shipping Clerk

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Location: Pooler, GA 31322

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support inbound and outbound warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate preparation of shipments, maintaining proper documentation, and coordinating with internal teams and external carriers to ensure efficient and compliant logistics operations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and experienced in shipping, receiving, and inventory coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, process, and manage outbound shipments while receiving and organizing incoming deliveries
  • Generate and maintain shipping documentation including Bills of Lading (BOL), shipping labels, and required records
  • Track shipments and resolve discrepancies related to weight, documentation, or inventory
  • Verify trailer seals, capture required shipment photos, and ensure compliance with shipping protocols
  • Receive, inspect, and distribute incoming shipments accurately and efficiently
  • Check drivers in and out while ensuring proper completion of all required paperwork
  • Collaborate with Shipping Leads to verify shipment weights prior to loading trucks
  • Record pallet counts, bag information, and inbound SS data into tracking spreadsheets
  • Complete organic affidavits and ensure accurate documentation of all shipments
  • Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely shipments
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data and documentation
