LIFE AS A SHIPPING/RECEIVING ASSOCIATE...
Malin's Shipping & Receiving Clerks are an integral part of our parts operation. The successful person in this role will be an energetic self-starter with the ability to see when things need to be done and foresee any issues that may arise.
Essential Functions:
* Ships and receive parts and materials
* Maintains accurate stock records so inventories are current, accurate, properly labeled and located.
* Processes all internal/external customer orders with accuracy and in a timely manner.
* Performs all receiving requirements, including proper routing of associated paperwork.
* Restocks all products accurately in a timely manner (weekly stock orders and daily transfers).
* Pulls orders for both internal and external customers.
* Maintains consumable stock and document usage.
* Processes all internal rebuild part orders.
* Press tires for customers and stock.
* Occasional parts delivery to customers.
* Operate the forklift safely.
* Customer service for all walk-in customers.

Education and Experience:* One or more years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Knowledgeable in safety standards and proper personal protection equipment usage within a distribution or warehouse area

Physical Requirements:
Climbing, stopping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motions. Heavy work, exerting up to 100 pound of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operating machines where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach; performing mechanical or skilled trade tasks of a non-repetitive nature. Subjected to inside and outside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, oils, atmospheric conditions and a variety of physical activities such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals.
