Description

Eiden Systems Consulting is seeking a cleared Shipping Assistant to support mission-driven shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for preparing outbound shipments, receiving and processing inventory, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall warehouse logistics operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working hands-on in warehouse and operational settings while supporting government and defense-related programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, package, weigh, and label outgoing shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Generate and maintain shipping documentation including packing slips, bills of lading, tracking information, and carrier labels using systems such as FedEx, UPS, and BTX.
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and update inventory records accordingly.
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, organizing warehouse inventory, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers and internal teams regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and logistics issues.
  • Support daily warehouse operations and material-handling activities as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • On-site minimum 3 days per week.
  • Prior experience in shipping/receiving, logistics, warehouse operations, or related support roles preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds regularly and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory tools, or RF scanners preferred.
  • Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification after hire.

Work Environment:

  • Position is operated in warehouse and/or outdoor operational environments.
  • Full-time role with potential weekend or surge support requirements based on mission needs.
