Job description

Material Handler 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a dependable Material Handler for a company based in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to primarily be responsible for safely transferring and packaging skids.
 
Pay Rate 
$20.00 per hour
 
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 9 00 am to 5 00 pm (or until finished)
 
Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities
  • Pull material from one skid to another, making sure it is straight and flush
  • Using a banding tool, put 4 bands, with corner protection, on all skids that are tagged for an order. Put 3 bands, with corner protection, on all skids going back into stock. 
  • Apply cardboard on top and bottom of all skids 
  • After skid is packaged, place the customer tag on the skid
 
Material Handler Qualifications and Requirements
  • Ability to like 50-75 lbs. 
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time 
  • Must follow safety protocols and guidelines during operation 
  • Must pass a criminal background check, and drug screen INCLUDING THC
