Shipping Associate

The Shipping Associate is responsible for preparing completed orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery to customers. This role supports warehouse operations by coordinating shipments, loading outbound freight, and maintaining accurate shipping documentation in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify completed orders for accuracy and ensure products are ready for shipment.
  • Package and secure products to prevent damage during transportation.
  • Load outbound shipments safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect products and shipments for quality and report any discrepancies or damages.
  • Create, process, and maintain shipping labels and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and transportation partners to ensure on-time shipments.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (if certified).
  • Organize staging areas and maintain an orderly shipping department.
  • Assist with inventory movement and warehouse support activities as needed.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Previous shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
