Key Responsibilities:
Shipping Duties:
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to customer and
carrier requirements.
• Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required
documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
Receiving Duties:
• Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
and packing slips.
• Report and document any discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Accurately enter received items into the inventory system.
Inventory Support:
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Organize and label materials in designated storage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the shipping/receiving area.
Documentation & Systems:
• Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving transactions.
• Use ERP or warehouse management systems to track inventory movement.
• Ensure all documentation is filed and stored properly.
Safety & Compliance:
• Follow all safety procedures and use proper lifting techniques.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
(manufacturing environment preferred).
• Familiarity with shipping software and ERP systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Working Conditions:
• Fast-paced warehouse environment with exposure to industrial equipment and
