We are seeking a dependable and motivated Facilities Maintenance & Shipping Associate to support our daily warehouse and facility operations. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient workplace by assisting with shipping and receiving, facility maintenance, groundskeeping, and general building upkeep.

Compensation:

$18 - $19+ hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and label incoming shipments.
  • Deliver materials and supplies to the appropriate departments or storage locations.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory organization, and material handling.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, aerial lifts, floor scrubbers, and sweepers.
  • Maintain clean and organized warehouse, shop, and office areas.
  • Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility as needed.
  • Perform seasonal grounds maintenance, including lawn care, debris removal, and snow and ice removal.
  • Set up and maintain conference rooms, training rooms, and common areas for meetings and events.
  • Perform general facility maintenance, including painting, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Assist maintenance technicians with facility improvement projects.
  • Monitor maintenance supply inventory and coordinate replenishment with purchasing.
  • Pick up materials and supplies from local vendors as needed.
  • Partner with the Facility Safety Administrator to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and established safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or facility maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other powered industrial equipment (or willingness to become certified).
  • Basic computer skills, including email and data entry.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
