Job description

Position Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate
Location: McAllen, TX
Pay Rate $15 p/hr
Position Summary:
Receive, store, and issue equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, and tools to production and
other personnel. Count incoming engine hardware to ensure match to purchase order. Communicate
discrepancies to FS. Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for
shipment. Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups. Ship engine hardware to customers.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Count, sort, and repackage incoming engine hardware
• Verify customer PO accuracy
• Prepare salvation review material for storage in warehouse
• Update job tracking system to verify shipment of customer orders
• Organize and verify adequate material packaging stock
• Knowledge on how to record charges on the total number of box weights then converting
weight into kilograms
• Keep organized shipping records, including statements of origin, shipping costs, products
shipped, and receipt dates
• Create shipping labels through FedEx/DHL or any other freight forwarder
• Move boxes of engine hardware
• Work with team to complete orders on-time
• Must adhere to and follow all safety procedures, i.e., lock-out/tag-out; report safety concerns,
use appropriate PPE as required, and follow similar safety practices
Qualifications/Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability and willingness to move boxes of engine hardware up to 40 lbs. with the use of lift
fixtures
• Willing and able to work overtime and any shift
• Requires the ability to read, write, and speak the English language: interpret and follow written
procedures, i.e. AWI (Aviation Work Instructions), etc., complete documentation, i.e. routers,
etc., and follow verbal instructions
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, nationals of the
United States, asylees and refugees) due to access to export-controlled technology.
Must pass physical, background, and drug screens
Desired Characteristics:
• Minimum of 1 year of job-related experience and/or training in a related warehouse/shipping &
receiving
• Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
• Proven experience and willingness to be self-directed and identify improvement processes
• Ability and willingness to work effectively with others in a team setting
• Follow and promote safe work practices
• Communicate effectively with others


Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
