About the Role

We’re seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate with a valid CDL license to join our dynamic logistics team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing shipments through FedEx, UPS, and major freight carriers, as well as familiarity with customs documentation and international shipping procedures. Must submit to mandatory, random drug screening.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support all shipping and receiving operations for domestic and international orders
  • Prepare and process FedEx, UPS, and freight carrier shipments accurately and efficiently
  • Complete and verify bills of lading, shipping documentation, and customs forms
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, reach trucks and electric pallet jacks
  • Inspect shipments for damage, accuracy, and compliance with company and carrier standards
  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring all items match purchase orders
  • Receive and enter all incoming shipments into inventory as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and distribution
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in resolving discrepancies as needed
  • Maintain organized inventory and warehouse records
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory requirements
  • Operate commercial vehicles to transport materials and goods between facilities and customer locations

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL (Class A or B) required
  • Medical Exam Certificate required
  • Experience in driving a forklift
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics
  • Ability to organize and maintain a warehouse
  • Strong working knowledge of FedEx, UPS, freight carrier systems, and customs procedures
  • Basic math skills essential
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to accuracy, safety, and teamwork
  • Experience with ERP systems – Epicor a plus
  • Minimum of 21 years old to drive a truck
  • Pass a Motor Vehicle check for prior DUI, DWI, speeding and accidents
