We’re hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a full-time evaluation-hire opportunity in Branford, CT. You’ll play an important role in keeping domestic and international shipments moving, maintaining accurate inventory, and making sure materials get where they need to go—safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, you’ll help keep the warehouse and shipping operation running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting daily shipping and receiving operations for domestic and international orders
  • Preparing and processing FedEx, UPS, and freight shipments accurately and efficiently
  • Completing and verifying bills of lading, shipping documents, and customs forms
  • Safely loading and unloading trucks using forklifts, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks
  • Inspecting outgoing shipments for damage, accuracy, and compliance with company and carrier standards
  • Inspecting incoming shipments to verify accuracy, quality, and alignment with purchase orders
  • Receiving and entering incoming shipments into inventory as needed
  • Working closely with team members to ensure orders are fulfilled and distributed on time
  • Participating in inventory counts and helping investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintaining accurate and organized inventory and warehouse records
  • Following company safety policies and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Operating commercial vehicles to transport materials and goods between facilities and customer locations

Qualifications:

  • Active Connecticut driver’s license required
  • Previous forklift operating experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, and logistics
  • Previous experience working with an ERP system
  • Experience with FedEx, UPS, and other freight carrier systems
  • Ability to organize and maintain a warehouse
  • Ability to work safely and accurately in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic
