Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will oversee the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and safety in all operations. Your responsibilities will include managing warehouse inventory, utilize warehouse management systems, and coordinate with various departments to facilitate seamless order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, proficiency with equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks, and a keen eye for detail to support our commitment to excellent service and operational excellence.
Duties
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing lists, and document receipt using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately to meet customer specifications.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks safely to load and unload trucks efficiently.
  • Manage stock levels through regular inventory checks, stocking shelves, and updating records in warehouse management software.
  • Assist with order picking and fulfillment processes for e-commerce platforms using RF scanners and order picker equipment.
  • Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit while adhering to safety standards.
