Job description

Job Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Associate supports the complete flow of material through Vicor's dock and warehouse, including receiving, shipping, inventory movement, and related system transactions. This is a cross-functional role.

Job Description

•    Receive, unload, count, inspect, and match incoming material to purchase orders and supporting documents.
•    Complete accurate and timely ERP receipts; label and route material to inspection, stock, production, MRB, or other designated areas.
•    Pick, verify, package, label, and process domestic and international customer orders.
•    Prepare and verify packing lists, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and other required shipping documents.
•    Record shipping, receiving, and material movements in the ERP system when the work is performed.
•    Operate approved material-handling equipment, maintain 5S standards, follow safety and quality requirements, and communicate issues promptly.

Education / Qualifications

•    High school diploma or equivalent.
•    At least two years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, distribution, or material-handling experience, preferably in manufacturing.
•    Hands-on ERP and computer experience, including accurate data entry, email, scanners, printers, and web-based systems; SAP experience is strongly preferred.
•    Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, reliability, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
•    Ability and willingness to become proficient in all shipping, receiving, inventory, and material-handling tasks.
•    Ability to work on-site in an active warehouse environment and lift or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable assistance.

Salary:
