Job description

Overview
R&P is looking for a Shipbuilding Data Manager who wants to join our team. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Business Financial Management, Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Data Manager ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to assist the Navy in constructing the newest class of Frigate.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the update and maintenance of shipbuilder deliverables (i.e CDRLs, ECPs, RFVs) including adjudication of comments.
  • Ensure compliance with established program policies & procedures and Navy data and configuration requirements.
  • Assist with the use, maintenance, enhancement and testing of the Program integrated data environment utilized to eletronically manage program data such as receipt, status and related change information.
  • Assist in the development and analysis of data management statistics

Qualifications
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Highschool Diploma/GE with 7+ years' experience supporting Navy shipbuilding programs.
  • Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with Navy surface ship data management practices (preferred).
