Job Summary: The Seasonal Retail Distribution Center processes merchandise for 16 retail locations at Palisades Tahoe. The DC Clerk is r esponsible for assisting in a variety of duties including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading of merchandise and materials, and distributing all products and materials to the company’s retail locations in a timely manner.
This position is located in Verdi, Nevada.
Applicants must be 18 years of age.
Hourly: The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Base hourly pay range: $20.50 - $28.69 per hour

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:
  • Receives, inventories, distributes and ships merchandise for Palisades Tahoe retail outlets and uniform department in accordance with Distribution Center guidelines.
  • Logs merchandise information into Retail Pro System. Helps update and maintain database.
  • Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area and assists in maintaining the security and safety of the Distribution Center
  • Assists in shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, placing materials or items on racks, shelves, bins, and pallets according to predetermined sequences such as size, style, type, color, or product code.
  • Accurately handles merchandise received and ensures that product is dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities
  • Efficient preparation of garments and protect merchandise from damage and shrinkage
  • Gathers and maintains all data records relative to shipping activities
  • Follow and practice all policies and procedures as discussed in Orientation and further outlined in the Operations Manual as standards of conduct including but not limited to, parking, attire, use of company equipment, late absence policy, and behavior while on property
  • Drives delivery vehicles for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated areas

Education and Experience:
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing 80% or more of a normal 8 hour work shift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.

Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the work place is usually moderate.
