Job description

Astronics AES is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team in Redmond, WA . This is an onsite position, working Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm in the facility. JOB SUMMARY The Shipping Clerk will schedule, process and track product shipments in partnership with internal and external customers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform administrative duties in support of activities related to the shipping of finished goods Communicate and coordinate with transportation companies Handle routine questions and problems and maintains open communication with other departments throughout the shipping/delivery cycle Log order information into the computer and files and distributes paperwork as necessary Package and prepare products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped Review customer orders MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Demonstrates awareness of job duties (typically 1 year of direct experience in the essential functions of the position). Experience with FedEx Ship Manager, DHL Easy Ship and UPS Worldship desired.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS This position may involve access to items subject to U.S. export-control laws. Employment is contingent upon the employees authorization to access such items under applicable law

Salary range is $20.12 - $27.22 per hour, dependant on experience

Mid-point is $23.67.
