Job description

Looking for experienced solar crew lead to join a customer experience focused solar company. Green Muscle Solar is a top installer in the valley, and the owners have each been in solar over 16 years. We have 40+ hour work weeks mostly Monday through Friday available. We are looking for hard workers that take pride in quality and taking care of customers. We pay out commissions for any sales made where a neighbor of an install signs up because of seeing our crew out working. Green Muscle Solar is quickly gaining a name for itself in Arizona. Looking for a knowledgeable professional that can run a crew efficiently and get along with everyone, with a clean driving record and clean criminal record.

Core Responsibilities

  • Crew Leadership: Direct and motivate a team of installers (typically 2–4 people) to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
  • Technical Installation: Lead the assembly of solar modules, racking systems, and mounting hardware on various roof types (e.g., composite shingle, tile, metal).
  • Electrical Work: Run conduit and wiring on roofs, configure AC/DC wiring, and sometimes perform Main Panel Upgrades (MPU).
  • Quality & Safety: Ensure all roof penetrations are flashed and weather-sealed to prevent leaks. Enforce OSHA safety protocols, including fall protection and proper ladder use.
  • Documentation: Review blueprints and site assessments; document completed work through detailed photos and daily job reports.
  • Logistics: Manage company vehicle, including safe driving to sites and ensuring accurate inventory of tools and materials for each project.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50–75 lbs routinely, climb ladders daily, and work for prolonged periods in extreme weather (heat, cold, rain).
  • Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools, ability to read schematics/single-line drawings, and a valid driver's license with a clean record.
