Job description

Essential Functions

A Ziegenfelder Relief is responsible for:

Ensure all materials and supplies (ex. Boxes, sticks, wraps, etc.) are stocked appropriately.

Completes all production consumption of raw materials in Business Central accurately and ensures timely submission for compliance standards and customer satisfaction.

Follows all GMP and SQF procedures.

Assists in training new personnel as needed per Supervisor/Team Lead/Assistant Team Lead.

Communicate any relevant personnel issue with Supervisor/Team Lead/Assistant Team Lead.

Ensure work area is clean and organized with all rework completed.

Manage and ensure that all breaks are taken effectively and on time.

Functions as production line worker when needed or directed by Supervisor/Team Lead/ Assistant Team Lead.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Team Lead/Assistant Team Lead.

Lead by example in a manner consistent with Ziegenfelder Values.

Supporting all departments as needed to produce and package quality Ziegenfelder treats.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English.

1-3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment highly preferred.

Ability to motivate and lead in a fast-paced environment.

Mechanical or operational background, in addition to the above qualifications, is a plus.

Must be available to work all shift to include weekends and holidays.

Physical Abilities

Standing up to 8 hours per day.

Bending, twisting, reaching and grasping actions.

Good spatial awareness working around manufacturing equipment.

May need to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 30 lbs. of force frequently, and up to 10 lbs. of force constantly.

May need to climb, balance, stoop, crouch, reach, stand, push, and pull frequently during a shift.

Working Conditions

Subject to cold temperatures of less than 32F for more than one hour with proper protection equipment.

May be subject to noise above 85 decibels with proper protection equipment
