HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in the Food & Beverage Manufacturing industry in Mechanicsburg, PA!


Salary: $75,000–$85,000 + 10% target bonus

Shift: Night Shift | 6:00 PM–6:30 AM | 2-2-3 schedule

Location: Mechanicsburg, PA

About the Role

This role provides hands-on leadership and direction for maintenance technicians supporting production equipment, utilities, and facility systems. The Maintenance Supervisor ensures safe, reliable operations while meeting departmental goals related to cost, quality, projects, and equipment uptime.


Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, direct, and support maintenance technicians to meet safety, quality, and cost standards
  • Schedule, assign, and prioritize work orders to support plant operations
  • Monitor staffing levels and adjust resources to ensure efficient coverage
  • Inspect work in progress and completed jobs to ensure workmanship and safety standards are met
  • Develop and implement training plans to strengthen technician skill sets
  • Coordinate closely with production to improve communication and minimize downtime
  • Recommend and plan equipment upgrades to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Coach and develop team members using performance management tools
  • Maintain maintenance materials, spare parts, and inventory levels
  • Promote plant safety initiatives and ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, quality, and sanitation standards
  • Support continuous improvement and foster teamwork aligned with plant values

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Prior maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, motor controls, and building maintenance
  • Experience troubleshooting processing and packaging equipment and electronic control systems
  • Familiarity with Allen-Bradley controls preferred
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Ability to analyze equipment issues, identify root causes, and manage projects
  • Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
