Assistant Manager

Overview

A fast growing San Diego based restaurant group is looking for an Assistant Manager to help support strong daily operations in a high volume Baja inspired fast casual environment. The concept is known for fresh press tortillas, authentic street style tacos, and a fast paced guest experience. This role is hands on and focused on service execution, team support, and maintaining high standards throughout each shift.


Key Responsibilities

• Support shift leadership across both front and back of house

• Maintain a strong presence on the floor to ensure fast and accurate service

• Assist with scheduling, training, and accountability for team members

• Help manage line checks, cleanliness, and food safety standards

• Support inventory, waste control, and accurate prep levels

• Deliver consistent hospitality and resolve guest concerns in the moment

• Support opening and closing routines and required shift logs


Leadership Expectations

• Maintains composure and confidence during rush periods

• Communicates clearly and sets a positive tone for the team

• Coaches team members to improve skills and performance

• Motivated to grow into higher leadership with a developing brand


Qualifications
