Job Summary
As an Installer for The Tailored Closet of Silver Spring, you will be responsible for the timely and mistake-free installation of a closets, office organization products and/or cabinetry in customer homes. The ideal candidate has at least one year of installation experience, preferably in a related industry, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check. Candidates must be prepared to get to work with a positive attitude and must have the physical strength and stamina to perform the duties of this job.
At the Direction of the Lead Installer, Responsibilities include:
  • Conduct in-home installation of company products
  • Conduct in-home installation repairs, as needed
  • Adhere to schedule for all jobs with punctuality
  • Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Communicate clearly and honestly with customers and colleagues, verbally and in writing
  • Work closely with team members to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Maintain assigned truck, including washing, restocking supplies, etc.
  • Comply with and follows all safety regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Carpentry, Construction, or Trade School Experience: 1 year preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean driving record
  • General construction and tool use knowledge
  • Able to lift over 50 pounds
