Job description

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking team-oriented results driven Territory Sales Representative to drive revenue growth and technical credibility across a defined South Louisiana Territory. This role is responsible for acquiring new commercial and Industrial accounts while protecting and growing an established book of business and relationships across many facets of the commercial, industrial, marine, offshore oil & gas, Energy and Agricultural fuel and lubricant consumers across the Gulf South.

The core responsibilities and duties associated with this position include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Drive strategic new‑business growth and development efforts and opportunities across the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within commercial, industrial, and energy markets within your prescribed territory
  • Manage and expand existing customer accounts through exceptional service delivery and consultative, value-driven selling.
  • Conduct on‑site visits to assess operational needs and deliver tailored fuel and lubricant solutions.
  • Prepare accurate quotes and proposals and execute timely and effective deal closures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including dispatch, operations, inside sales, and customer service—to ensure seamless service execution.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including sales activities, pipeline updates, and account notes in Salesforce.
  • Report on performance metrics and provide insight into progress toward team goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • 3+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience with a track record of new account acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to travel throughout South Louisiana with occasional overnights.
  • Proven prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce Preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

  • Experience in fuel distribution, lubricant sales, or petroleum product sales in the Gulf South market.
  • Established relationships within South Louisiana’s oilfield services, marine/offshore, petrochemical construction, or commercial fleet sectors.
  • Working knowledge of fuels, lubricants, DEF, marine oils, hydraulic fluids, gear oils, and related equipment programs.
  • Familiarity with South Louisiana’s industrial geography (Houma‑Thibodaux, Port Fourchon, River Parishes, Acadiana).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience).
