Job description

Company Description: John W. Stone Oil Distributor, LLC is the local leader in dockside, mid-streaming, and offshore fueling along the Mississippi River, from Baton Rouge to Venice, Louisiana, and into the Gulf of Mexico.

Position: Accounts Receivable/Administrative Assistant

Worksite: Terrytown, Louisiana.

Work Schedule: 8am to 5pm, Monday-Friday. Some overtime will be required on an as-needed basis.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Submit Chevron invoices on Chevrons website and in Ascend
  • Match up buyback invoices with Chevron drafts and give to AP
  • Make corrections to Chevron invoices and resolve issues with Chevron
  • Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers
  • Backup AR personnel for Shell and Exxon Mobile invoices
  • Assist in AR as needed
  • Backup to reception Desk/Answering phones
  • Assist Management with clerical tasks as directed (mail, copying, scanning, etc.)
