Job description

A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Maintenance Team Lead with Siemens Energy, you will ensure peak performance of advanced vacuum furnace systems at a cutting-edge investment casting facility. Each day involves hands-on troubleshooting, precision repairs, and collaboration with a safety-focused team. Working in a high-tech, high-precision environment, you will help drive manufacturing excellence. You will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of maintenance technicians. This role focuses on guiding daily maintenance activities, elevating craftsmanship standards, monitoring performance metrics, and providing your hands-on expertise to ensure maximum equipment reliability, safety, and production efficiency in the Gibsonton Florida location.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Provide daily direction, coaching, and support to maintenance technicians across all shifts promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead by example in safety, quality, and professional conduct assisting in onboarding, mentoring, and developing technical skillsets of team members.
  • Ensure repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance tasks meet established quality standards enforcing best practices in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex equipment and system issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related problems in casting equipment (e.g., furnaces, shell rooms, autoclaves, finishing equipment) and ensure execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.
What You Bring
  • 5 years or more of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Experience with vacuum furnaces, thermal systems, or casting equipment is highly preferred.
  • Associate's Degree or Technical certification in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred and Osha, forklift or welding familiarity.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum systems and thermal processing equipment.
  • Ability to drive Root Cause driven improvement processes to include managing and following through on action items to completion and to plan, organize and execute tasks on time solving problems and overcoming obstacles.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
  • This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
