About the Role

 

We are seeking an Operator 2, Bakery - Sheeter, 2nd Shift to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As an Operator 2, Bakery - Sheeter, 2nd Shift, you will be accountable for operating and monitoring high-speed bakery production lines to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This role is critical to maintaining product quality, food safety compliance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Shift & Schedule

 

  • Shift: 2nd Shift
  • Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  • Weekend Availability: Required

Compensation

 

  • Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $22.00

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

 

  • Operate and monitor high-speed bakery production lines to ensure efficient and consistent output.
  • Verify production equipment readiness, including sensors, guides, and safety devices.
  • Monitor ingredient and raw material availability to support uninterrupted production.
  • Review and maintain process parameters, including temperature and timing specifications.
  • Document production issues, corrective actions, and operational data accurately.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.
  • Maintain food safety, GMP, hygiene, and workplace safety standards throughout production activities.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

 

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to navigate operating screens and production systems.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Knowledge of GMP standards and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including weekends as required.

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing, production, or packing environment.
  • Experience operating high-speed production equipment.
