You will lead the crew and make sure all work meets Four Seasons Kanga Roof's standards. You will start with a pre-job meeting with the Superintendent or Project Manager to go over work orders, crew size, labor budgets, and material needs. Throughout the day, you will check that all safety standards follow OSHA guidelines, that the quality of work meets manufacturer specifications, and that materials are ready for the next step. You will talk regularly with the Sheet Metal Superintendent, Project Manager, general contractors, and building owners. Before leaving the job site, you will make sure the roof is watertight, the area is clean, and all tools and materials are secure. You will also take photos and add notes in the company's CRM system to record progress.What We Need From You As A Sheet Metal Technician Foreman:Valid driver's license and reliable transportation4+ years of sheet metal experience w/general roofing knowledge and skills Ability to run a 3 – 5 person crew effectivelyKnowledge and skills to install Metal Roof systemsCompetence with technology and ability to read and understand work ordersAbility to set up ladders independently and work on commercial and residential roofsCapability to work in hot and cold weather and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.MEET US:Since 2006, the Burkhardt family has been building a roofing company that puts its team, clients, and community first.
