Job description

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Pick and Pack Associate to join our fast-paced distribution center in Miami. You will be the final link between our inventory and our customers, ensuring that every order is selected accurately, packed securely, and shipped on time.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a high-energy environment, possesses a strong "sense of urgency," and has a sharp eye for detail to prevent shipping errors.

Core Responsibilities

  • Order Picking: Locate and pull products from warehouse shelves based on digital or printed pick tickets using handheld RF scanners.
  • Quality Packing: Securely pack items into shipping boxes, ensuring proper use of padding (bubble wrap, paper, etc.) to prevent damage during transit.
  • Labeling & Sorting: Generate and apply shipping labels accurately; sort outgoing packages by carrier or destination.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Conduct basic cycle counts and notify supervisors of any stock discrepancies or damaged goods.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workstation; adhere to all OSHA safety standards and warehouse protocols.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or retail stockroom preferred.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using RF scanners and basic computer systems for order tracking.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred given the Miami market.
