In the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)-also known as a neonatal ICU, newborn intensive care, or critical care nursery-you'll join a high-functioning night-shift team caring for fragile, high-acuity neonates who require close observation, advanced monitoring, and respiratory support care ; your nights will blend steady, detail-oriented bedside practice with rapid-response readiness as you stabilize new admissions, manage evolving care plans, coordinate with respiratory therapy for noninvasive and invasive support, and partner with neonatal providers to anticipate the next step in each infant's trajectory; the workflow is structured to keep you practicing at the top of your RN license with clear protocols, supportive charge resources, and strong RN staffing support that helps protect quality care and safe handoffs; communication is streamlined through consistent night-to-night collaboration, with nurses, APPs, and physicians working shoulder-to-shoulder; as an RN NICU Full Time clinician, you'll have the autonomy to make timely clinical judgments, escalate changes promptly, educate and support families through complex decisions, and participate in continuous improvement efforts; scheduling is designed around a full-time night commitment, with a team culture that helps you plan your life, trade coverage responsibly, and step into extra learning opportunities when you're ready; this is an environment built for NICU professionals who love high-acuity newborn care and want to practice in a unit that values steady teamwork, vigilance, and clinical excellence.
