Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (11:00 - 23:30)
Duration: 13 Weeks with High possibility of extension

Prefer Recent RN wound care experience

BLS is required
WOCN, Wound Care Certification OR WOCN is preferred

Responsibilities:
• Providing specialized wound care management including wound assessment, dressing changes, wound cultures, and symptom management
• Performing and assisting with wound treatments such as alginates, foams, hydrocolloids, hydrogels, silver products, skin substitutes, and wound VAC therapy
• Assisting with debridement procedures including mechanical, enzymatic, autolytic, and sharp debridement
• Monitoring and managing alterations in skin integrity and mucous membranes
• Conducting ulcer and skin risk assessments using Braden Scale and other prevention assessment tools
• Identifying and managing risk factors affecting skin integrity and wound healing
• Providing continence evaluations and assisting with urodynamic and diagnostic procedures
• Supporting advanced therapies including electrical stimulation and hyperbaric oxygen therapy
• Educating patients and caregivers on wound care, prevention strategies, and treatment plans
• Maintaining accurate documentation of wound progress, treatments, and patient responses
