Behavioral Health Registered Nurse

Working as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Behavioral Health is a meaningful and challenging role. We are searching for an exceptional RN to join our Behavioral Health team to make a positive impact on patient care. As an RN on our team, you will provide comprehensive, compassionate and holistic care to patients in our Behavioral Health program. You will collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients and their families.

Posted Salary Range: USD $40.00 - USD $46.00 /Hr.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. This position is 7:00pm - 7:00am Only.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work under direct supervision using the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, Practice Guidelines and nursing judgment
  • Deliver nursing care to patients requiring care, collecting patient data, making observations and reporting pertinent information to the care of patients
  • Direct and supervise care given by other nursing staff members as needed
  • Provide support and resources to patients and families in order to facilitate recovery
  • Participate in quality improvement activities
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must be a licensed RN in good standing with the state (as required)
  • 1+ years of nursing experience in a behavioral health facility strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent judgment and problem solving skills (critical thinking) coupled with the ability to work independently.
  • Reliable transportation required
