Medical Assistant (Hybrid) - Orange, CA
We are seeking a customer-service-driven Medical Assistant for a 4-month contract role (covering a leave of absence, with potential to extend). In this role, you will act as a crucial support backbone for remote healthcare providers who visit members in their homes, ensuring seamless telehealth coordination, chart preparation, and member outreach.
Responsibilities
- Support remote healthcare providers conducting in-home member visits via telehealth
- Prepare member charts for the following day's appointments
- Conduct member reminder calls, answer incoming calls, and manage follow-up outreach
- Submit medical orders and referrals accurately and promptly
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Diploma (Certification not required)
- 6+ months of experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Strong customer service skills and job stability
- Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate digital tools and EHR systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish (Strong Plus)
- Previous experience working in a remote or hybrid role
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Hybrid Model: On-site Mon/Wed/Fri (Orange, CA) | Remote Tue/Thu (Client provides equipment)
Compensation
- $24 - $26/hour (depending on experience)
