Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Join Virginia's largest full-scope midwifery group! Our practice is seeking to add a compassionate, collaborative, and clinically skilled Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to our practice located in central Virginia. The CMG Women's Center is a highly successful hospital-owned practice that employs Certified Nurse-Midwives and Nurse Practitioners, serving a diverse population. Services include comprehensive healthcare across the lifespan, including antepartum through postpartum care, as well as gynecologic services such as reproductive and wellness care for women and non-binary individuals.

Procedures may include IUD/Nexplanon insertion or removal, diaphragm fittings, bunch biopsy, and Saline-Infused Sonograms. CMG Women's Center is committed to diversity and inclusion and strongly encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences to apply.

Qualifications

Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with specialization as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP).

Required Certifications and Licensures: Current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority. Maintains BLS and ACLS certifications. Holds a current, active license as a registered nurse in Virginia or a current multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse. Nationally recognized certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP).
