Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to design, develop, enhance, and maintain SharePoint-based applications that support critical business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SharePoint development, customization, workflow implementation, and application support. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions while ensuring the reliability and performance of existing SharePoint environments.

Key Responsibilities

As a SharePoint Developer, you will:

  • Design, develop, customize, and maintain SharePoint-based applications and solutions.

  • Configure and customize SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and user interfaces to meet business requirements.

  • Develop software solutions by analyzing business needs, documenting requirements, designing technical solutions, coding, testing, debugging, and deploying applications.

  • Work with SharePoint-based Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications, including back-end SharePoint development and front-end configuration.

  • Develop and maintain SharePoint workflows and automate business processes using SharePoint technologies.

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application and system issues in a timely manner.

  • Participate in application testing, code reviews, and quality assurance activities to ensure reliable, high-quality deliverables.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, process flows, diagrams, and code documentation.

  • Develop proof-of-concept solutions to evaluate new technologies and business requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and IT management to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.

  • Perform routine maintenance, enhancements, and support for existing SharePoint applications.

  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of organizational data and systems.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience developing and supporting SharePoint-based applications.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in the analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise web applications.

  • Strong experience with SharePoint development and customization using SharePoint Designer.

  • Experience with .NET technologies, including C# and/or VB.NET, is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, workflows, site collections, permissions, and administration.

  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting SharePoint applications in production environments.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality, error-free solutions.

  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

  • Microsoft SharePoint Developer certification(s) are preferred.

  • Experience with Lanteria HR Software is a plus.
