  • Define and maintain SharePoint standards, policies, site provisioning processes, lifecycle management procedures, and governance documentation.
  • Lead information architecture activities, including taxonomy, metadata, navigation, hub and site architecture, permissions structure, and search optimization.
  • Manage SharePoint operations, including platform availability, capacity planning, incident management, problem management, patching coordination, and vendor escalation.
  • Oversee security and compliance controls, including permissions models, least-privilege access, retention labels, data loss prevention, eDiscovery, audit readiness, and records management alignment.
  • Direct site and solution delivery, including intake, requirements gathering, backlog management, release planning, testing, deployment, and enhancement prioritization.
  • Partner with customer stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements into SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform solutions.
  • Support or lead SharePoint migrations, consolidations, modernization activities, and continuous improvement initiatives, as applicable.
  • Ensure SharePoint sites, solutions, content structures, and user experiences align with Section 508 accessibility requirements.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, process documentation, governance materials, training content, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support integration and collaboration across Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, OneDrive, Purview, and related applications.
  • Use scripting, automation, or administrative tools, including PowerShell, to streamline SharePoint administration and platform management.
  • Support service health, adoption reporting, dashboards, and metrics to improve visibility into platform usage and operational performance.
  • Coordinate with technical teams, service management teams, security stakeholders, and business users to resolve issues and improve platform effectiveness.
  • Maintain awareness of Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, security, compliance, and collaboration tool updates that may impact customer operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Public Trust Eligibility
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience administering and delivering SharePoint solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online; SharePoint on-premises experience may also be considered.
  • Proven experience supporting SharePoint governance, information architecture, and security/compliance practices in a mid-to-large organization.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 tools and services, including Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Purview compliance capabilities such as retention, data loss prevention, and eDiscovery.
  • Experience supporting SharePoint permissions models, least-privilege access, retention policies, audit readiness, records management, or related compliance requirements.
  • Experience gathering requirements, documenting business needs, managing intake, and translating stakeholder needs into SharePoint or Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
