Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive and skilled Automation Engineer to spearhead the development and management of automation solutions within our organization. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency by automating routine tasks and data workflows, particularly in Excel spreadsheets, survey systems, and other operational tools. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating robust, scalable automated processes that streamline operations and improve accuracy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Automated Systems Development:
    - Design and deploy automation solutions to streamline operations, focusing on Excel spreadsheet management, survey response handling, and other administrative tasks.
    - Design, build, and manage automated workflows using Power Automate/Azure to enhance business processes.
    - Troubleshoot and optimize existing workflows for efficiency and scalability.
  • Programming & System Integration: Develop scripts and applications to integrate disparate systems and ensure seamless data flow across platforms.
  • Operational Collaboration: Work with various departments such as IT, operations, and administration to identify bottlenecks and deploy automation strategies to enhance productivity.
  • System Troubleshooting: Proactively identify, debug, and resolve issues in automated processes, ensuring operational continuity and system reliability.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously monitor automated systems, analyze performance, and implement improvements to boost efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Documentation & Training: Generate comprehensive documentation on automated systems and provide training to end-users to ensure effective implementation and utilization.
  • Innovation and Research: Keep abreast of the latest automation technologies and methodologies, recommending upgrades and innovations that keep the organization at the forefront of operational excellence.

Microsoft 365 Integration

  • Leverage Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, PowerApps, OneDrive, etc.) to develop integrated solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for utilizing Microsoft 365 capabilities.



Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technical field or equivalent verifiable work history.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing automation solutions, with a focus on operational applications.
  • Experience in programming with Python, Java, or similar languages and familiarity with database management is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns and platforms that enhance data interoperability.
  • Strong analytical skills for effective problem-solving and system optimization.
  • Excellent communication abilities and experience working collaboratively across diverse teams.
  • Experience and proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL and MySQL databases, and automation platforms is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:
