Job Description

Our client looking for a qualified SharePoint Admin and Content Editor who can immediately contribute to this important and fulfilling mission.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


-Maintain and configure SharePoint Knowledge Management Intranet/Extranet Portal (KMIEP).

-Assist with the building of pages, sites, and graphic creation within Microsoft SharePoint 2010.

-Monitor and address issues that arise with the KMIEP, portal permissions, and access.

-Assist in the creation and implementation of a SharePoint portal style guide.

-Assist with dissemination and publication of appropriate information and documents.

-Perform the storage, disposition, destruction, and archiving tasks for all electronic files, documents, records and other knowledge management data .

-Apply metadata and taxonomy management strategies to search out and find relevant data and organize and classify that data.

-Train Knowledge Management (KM) and Content Management (CM) best practices/techniques to new hires and staff, formally and informally, during the course of doing business.


Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS:


-Basic webpage development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

-Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InfoPath, Visio).

-Familiarity with multiple web browser platforms (Internet Explorer, Firefox) and other Internet tools.

-Solid understanding of SharePoint site administration and permissions structure.

-Demonstrated aptitude for providing exceptional customer service.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.

-Must work well as a member of a team as well as independently.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:


-Experience working with SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint Designer 2010.

-Knowledge and experience with SharePoint customization using Site Definitions, SharePoint Templates, and development of custom web parts.
