Job description

Description:

HyerTek is a growing federal technology consulting firm delivering secure Microsoft-based enterprise solutions, data analytics, and modernization services to government agencies. With deep expertise across Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform, Power BI, and secure federal IT delivery, we help agencies modernize mission-critical systems and improve operational performance.

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to join our delivery team. You'll design and implement SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions — Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI dashboards — that automate processes, surface insights, and improve collaboration for our clients. You'll work alongside senior architects with room to grow into a lead developer role

Location: Candidates must be based in the Washington, DC metro area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions that leverage dashboard reporting, automated workflows, and collaboration features to streamline business processes
  • Develop, document, and support custom and out-of-the-box SharePoint Online solutions using industry best practices
  • Build and maintain Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps on the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Develop Power Automate flows for business process automation and system integration
  • Create Power BI dashboards and reports from a range of data sources, including Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, and Excel
  • Perform data manipulation and cleansing to prepare datasets for reporting and app development
  • Engage with users and stakeholders to analyze business processes and technical requirements, and translate them into working solutions
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users interacting with SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Create documentation, flowcharts, and diagrams for delivered solutions
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of hands-on Microsoft 365 development experience
  • Strong SharePoint Online experience — site architecture, lists, libraries, content types, permissions, and integrations
  • Demonstrated experience building both Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps
  • Proficiency with Power Automate (cloud flows; desktop flows a plus)
  • Power BI experience — building interactive dashboards and reports from multiple data sources
  • Working knowledge of Dataverse and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Ability to work with a range of datasets (Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, Excel, and similar)

U.S. Security Clearance Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active Secret clearance required

Preferred Qualifications

  • SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development
  • Power Pages experience
  • PCF (Power Apps Component Framework) controls
  • Front-end skills (JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
  • Microsoft certifications: PL-100, PL-200, PL-300, PL-400, or MS-700

HyerTek offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with employer contribution
  • Paid time off (PTO) and company holidays
  • Flexible work arrangements
  • Professional development and certification support
  • Employee assistance program (EAP)
  • Life and disability insurance
