Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrator - Microsoft 365 and Sharepoint for configuration, security, and ongoing optimization of our Microsoft 365 environment-while also serving as a direct technical lead for SharePoint Online solutions and modernization, and business process automation.

About the Role:

As Administrator - Microsoft 365 and Sharepoint you will perform various tasks to continuously improve the organization's Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online environment by ensuring secure, reliable service while designing and delivering modern SharePoint solutions and automation that improve collaboration and business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer Microsoft 365 services (Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive) including configuration, licensing, and tenant settings.

  • Monitor service health, respond to incidents, and coordinate root-cause analysis and corrective actions to maintain availability and performance.

  • Maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and change management records.

  • Design and build modern SharePoint Online sites, information architecture, navigation, and content governance to support an effective intranet experience.

  • Develop and maintain SharePoint solutions (lists/libraries, SPFx as applicable, integrations) aligned with business requirements and usability standards.

  • Implement and manage identity, access, and permissions models (least privilege, role-based access) across SharePoint, Teams, and M365 groups.

  • Configure and support data protection and compliance capabilities (retention, eDiscovery support, sensitivity labels/policies where applicable).

  • Support audits and risk reviews by providing evidence, logs, and controls documentation for M365 services.

  • Provide tiered support and escalation for Microsoft 365 and SharePoint issues, coordinating with Microsoft and third-party vendors as needed.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 2-5 years of experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Microsoft 365 Administration

    • Exchange Online

    • SharePoint Online

    • Teams' administration

    • Identity and access management

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for administration and automation.

  • Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and data governance.

  • Preferred Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert; Identity and Access Administrator Associate; Security Administrator Associate
